Women's Self Defense Seminar!

On Monday, December 11 at our main location, Grandmaster Crandall and Headmaster Stalloch taught a 90 minute Women's Self Defense Seminar.

Some of the participants had taken one of our previous seminars, and they spent the entire time working on physical techniques because they had already taken the introductory seminar.

Grandmaster Crandall led this group through defenses against knife assaults, being held at gunpoint, and active shooter scenarios and options.

Headmaster Stalloch took the gorup of first time participants for the first 45 minutes for an informational segment about how to develop your own personal safety plan including awareness information regaring securing your home, walking, criminal psychology, and more.

Then the two groups were combined to learn escape techniques from common grabs including throat grab, wrist grabs, sleeve grabs, and choke holds. The seminar ended with a special topic, how to escape being restrained on the ground.

The participants did an excellent job, and we are looking forward to our next seminar coming soon.
