Action Martial Arts Magazine's
International Hall-of-Honors

On January 12th, eight instructors and one adult black belt student from the American Martial Arts Institute and their guests attended Action Martial Arts Magazine's International Hall of Honors in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Over 1,200 martial artists and guests from around the world participated in the event. During the day, participants had the opporunity to watch demonstrations performed by other marial arts schools and visit the many exhibition booths of other martial artists and movie stars such as Don "the Dragon" Wilson, Cynthia Rothrock, Michael Jai White, and more.

During the evening recognition banquet, Grandmaster Crandall and Master Hillicoss, both inducted in previous years, received awards for continuing contributions to the martial arts.


The instructors and black belt students who traveled from different parts of New York State also had the opportunity to train with Grandmaster Crandall in one of the vacant seminar rooms. Grandmaster Crandall taught the katas American Eagle (required for 3rd dan) and Simplicity (required for 5th dan).

It was an exciting weekend and a good time was had by all.
