<P><font size=4 color=purple>This program is taught year round in four three-month segments.  It has been a regular 
part of the American Martial Arts Institute's martial arts offerings for over 10 years.  Seldom is it mentioned on our
web site because of its consistency and normal running of our weekly programs.  But its continued success has 
merited a spot on our web site for our guest visitors to see.  The class is 45 minutes long each Saturday.  The class is 
restricted to fifteen students and no students are allowed to register after the first two weeks of a three-month segment. 
This program deals with stranger awareness, coloring books, kata boards, escape techniques, games, tumbling and sometimes pets are brought in 
for the children to experience and interact with.</P>


<P>Many of the students that started out in Superkick when they were 3 and 4 years old are still active and now are 
brown belts or black belts in the regular classes at ages 13, 14 and 15 years old. We at the school are very pleased with 
comments over the years from parents that have said that the Superkick program noticably helped their child function 
successfully in going to public school and better prepared them for social and academic interaction with others.<P>


<P>Some of the pictures you are about to see are from the Utica location's Superkick program that started March 16 and will 
end on June 15, 2002.  With such great success in helping children of this age enjoy the martial arts and grow academically 
and socially, we are going to follow this particular group of students as they learn during the next three months.  Our 
web site will bring up this page and new pictures each month until June.  We hope you enjoy see some of the action of 
these children over the next three months as they are first introduction to the martial arts.</font></P>
