COMMON QUESTIONS:
Here are answers to some common questions people ask about training in our school. If you would like to know more about the school itself please see the Our History page.

How is American Eagle Style taught by The American Martial Arts Institute different than pure Tae Kwon Do?
The American Eagle Style uses hands and feet equally. This results in a more well-rounded defensive program. We also teach traditional Tae Kwon Do katas, but in an American format.

Does your school have any training rules?
Yes we do! We want all students to respect themselves, each other, the instructors, and the training hall. Click on the link above to see our rules.

Does your school have belt ranks?
In the United States the term Rank refers to a student's level of proficiency in the martial arts. In different styles it may be referred to by other names; for example in Korean (Tae Kwon Do) it is a gup or gyup for colored belts and dan for first degree and up. Click on the link to see more about our belt ranks.
