EXTENSION TOOLS
American Eagle Style

American Eagle Style is a traditional empty-handed martial art style. The weapons of an empty hand style are the parts of the body including arms, legs, hands, feet, elbows, knees, wrists, head, and every other part. An extension tool extends the practitioner's empty-hand skills into another object. Sometimes extension tools are referred to as weapons and include the sai, tonfa, bo, kama, etc... American Eagle Style permits students who 18 years and older or yellow belt or higher in rank to train with extension tools. The 11 extension tools listed in the American Eagle Style textbook are as follows:

Bo
Kama
Sai
Tonfa
Escrima
Naginata
Cane
Sword
Half-moon Staff
Shinai
Manriki
