Main Office Class Schedules

Our Full-Time Facility has three large training rooms. Where times overlap, classes are offered in separate rooms.

These class times may vary in some small way because of special programs and due to the time fo the year. Calling the location before going there will help the instructors to answer your questions.

ADULT CLASSES
  • MONDAY 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., for all ranks.
  • MONDAY 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., for all ranks.
  • TUESDAY 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., for all ranks.
  • WEDNESDAY 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., for all ranks.
  • THURSDAY 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., for all ranks.
  • FRIDAY 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., for all ranks.
  • SATURDAY 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., for all ranks. (Training Room 2)
  • CLASS ATTENDANCE DETAILS: These classs are for ages 13 an older. Adult students may attend as many of these classes as are offered. Children ages 6-12 may attend these classes, too, if they are a yellow belt or higher (with instructor's permission).
CHILDREN'S CLASSES
  • TUESDAY 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., for all ranks
  • WEDNESDAY 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., for all ranks.
  • THURSDAY 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., for all ranks.
  • SATURDAY 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., for all ranks. (Training Room 1)
  • CLASS ATTENDANCE DETAILS: These classes are for children ages 6-12. Students ages 3,4,5 must register for Superkick classes. Students 13 and older may only attend adult classes. When students register they may attend either Tuesday and Thursday OR they may attend Wednesday and Saturday. This gives them two classes per week. Once a student earns the rank of yellow belt, they may attend all of the adult classes offered, as well (with instructor's permission).
SUPERKICK PROGRAM
  • SATURDAY-SESSION 1: 9:45 to 10:30 a.m., ages 3, 4, and 5.
  • SATURDAY-SESSION 2: 10:45 to 11:30 a.m., ages 3, 4, and 5.
  • PROGRAM DETAILS This class is for 3-5 year olds and runs in seasonal sessions (fall, winter, and spring). New members receive a free uniform and a 122-page professional workbook on the programs educational goals and activities. Pre-registration is required and class size is limited. AMERICAN CANE SYSTEM
  • MONDAY 6:45 to 7:45 p.m., for all ranks.
  • THURSDAY 6:45 to 7:45 p.m., for all ranks.
  • SATURDAY 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., for all ranks.
  • CLASS DETAILS: The American Cane System is for students 16 years of age and older. Separate registration required. Visit our CANE section for more details.
IAIDO
  • WEDNESDAY The 2nd Wednesday of every month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • FRIDAY The 4th Friday of the following months from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
    October, November, January, February, March, and April.
  • CLASS DETAILS: This Iaido schedule is effective starting Sept. 1, 2015 (call the main location at 315-768-1859 prior to July for class schedule)
    Takenouchi-Hangan-Ryu-Matsuno-Crandall Iaido is for students ages 18 and older. Separate registration required. Visit our IAIDO section for more details.
OPEN SYSTEM
  • MONDAY 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • WEDNESDAY 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • FRIDAY 6:15 to 7:15 p.m..
  • PROGRAM DETAILS: The open system program is for men and women ages 40 and older who wish to train in American Eagle Style without earning rank. Classes run concurrently with American Eagle Style adult classes.

Our Professional Full-Time Training Hall provides a safe and educational environment for all classes. All classes are taught by certified, adult black belt instructors.

The American Martial Arts Institute offers three distinct, traditional, martial arts styles and numerous special programs such as extension tools, tai chi, and more. Call our main location to find out more about these classes. We also host a variety of special, educational events throughout the year such as the Adult Seminar Day, Teenage Seminar Day, Annual Weapon's Competition, the Mid-Winter Break Indoor Martial Arts Program (Fun Shop), Testings, Guest Seminars, and much more. Therefore, you may want to call the main location to learn when these events are being held.
